Rotorua ... A Great Place To Have A Cold! :p

We've finally started our magic bus tour and are in Rotorua now. It's a nice town with lots of thermal activity, so there are all these spas and geysers and everything, but the downside is that it's really smelly here. It smells like eggs all the time coz of all the sulphur.

We've been to the spa here (42 degrees C) and to the agro dome to look at people do weird activities like zorbing(rolling down the hill in a big plastic ball) couldn't go in any, saving up money to do fly by wire in a few weeks.

But before Rotorua we went to Auckland, which isn't a very nice city, rather boring actually. But the sky tower was cool, nice view of the city and the volcanoes.

After Auckland we went to Whitianga, a town by the sea. We visited Cathedral cove on the way and hired a car the next day together with a guy we met on the bus to go digging for hot water at Hot Water Beach. But it was raining and the tide never went out, so it didn't really work. But we had a great time anyway.

In Waitomo we went into the glow worm caves in a tube, which was really cool, the glow worms are beautiful and it was fun splashing around in the water. Not much else to do in Waitomo, so we left the next day and went to Rotorua. And that for now completes the story, coz I'm right back where I started, in the town that smells like eggs! :p
