Hey all,
This update about LA is actually been written in New Zealand, just didn't get a chance to use Internet again before.
Anyway, last time I was still In New York. We met up with a guy I met at my uncles wedding and had lunch, and later visited friends my sister met in India. It was really nice seeing them, and getting to know some of the people in NY.
Our flight to LA left from JFK airport at 11 am, and we got there right on time.... but we had to wait 1,5 hours at check in, so we almost missed our flight! We got through security on the fast lane, and then ran all the way to the terminal because they were already calling our flight. Which I can say, is NOT a nice way to start your flight! But gladly all went well in the end and we got to LA fine.
We spent our first day walking down Hollywood boulevard and going to Santa Monica beach for the day. The rest of the week we met up with a friend (Rafael) we met in Venice last year. He drove us around and showed us some of the main attractions and Venice beach. We also went to Disneyland (only to the main street in front of the park) and Rafael gave me my very first driving lesson at the Disneyland parking lot. But I wasn't the best driver, better get some lessons when I get home ;)
Even managed to get drunk although I'm under 21. We went to a friends house, watched LOST, ate pizza... and drank :p. Went to a 18+ dance club the next night, so I did get to go out in the end, which was fun.
We went on a "Hollywood movie stars homes tour", thought we had to do the touristy thing to do. It was nice, but the guide was the most annoying man I have ever met!
All together had a great time so far, and we've just entered New Zealand, so there is gonna be a lot to see here too.

Leuk om te lezen dat je het zo leuk hebt.
In Nieuw Zeeland zul je vast ook gaan vermaken! Het is zo mooi daar. Hoe ga je daar reizen? Nou ja dat lees ik vast wel in een van de volgende verslagen. Geniet er in elk geval maar enorm van!
